Hi

Thanks to this forum i realized that building your own pc was not so dificult, so i did my first build with the following components:

1 COOLER MASTER Sileo 500 RC-500-KKN1-GP Black Computer Case

2 ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO ATX AMD Motherboard

3 Rosewill Green Series RG430-2 430W "Compatible with Core i7, i5" Power Supply

4 AMD Phenom II X4 905e 2.5GHz Socket AM3 65W Quad-Core Processor

5 Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

6 HD 500G|SEAGATE ST3500418AS

7 DVD BURN SONY|AD-7240S-0B

Everything went ok and works perfectly, except that when i use a program called cpu-z and i notice that memory is running at 666 instead of 1333?

After this, i got into my motherboard bios, and after looking at all options i only found the following options regardinf mem speed: 2someting, 4something, 666 and 800.

Can someone please point me in the right direction on how to achieve 1333. I dont know anything about cas latency, timings, etc.

Thanks

I am also having the same problem. I found out with my OCZ ram and ASRock motherboard that the RAM is running at 1066 instead of 1600.. (533 instead of 800).

So I tried to use the XMP profile, and change the voltage to 1.65, but the PC locks up when I use the XMP profile (even if I leave the voltage on AUTO).

I used CPU-Z to find out the XMP timings, but they don't provide all of them. I found out it is 8-8-8-24-36-?-?-?-?-?

?=CPU-Z doesn't show those. I see there are 5 or more other settings in my timing screen of BIOS, do I just leave those on AUTO??
