This is the error I'm getting:

BCCode : 3b BCP1 : 00000000C0000005 BCP2 : FFFFF800011AAB28
BCP3 : FFFFFADF90DDD0A0 BCP4 : 0000000000000000 OSVer : 5_2_3790
SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

Can anyone tell me what the problem is??? Also..as the BSOD only pops up like once in two weeks...is it safe to just ignore it? And can it be that the BSOD error is caused by a corrupt version of Windows or incomplete installation??

AMD X2 Athlon 3.1 ghz
Asus M4a78-e Mobo
Ati 4870 1 gb
4gb ram
500 gb hd
Cooler Master 460w PSU
Windows XP 64bit SP3

Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for all of your components including your motherboard.

It could also be a compatibility issue with software installed that doesn't play well with the 64bit OS you have installed.

I would bank on it being the second suggestion I made but it could be the drivers as well...

I would also not forget to check the memory for errors. Run a program like Memtest and load up all 4GB or better yet, but the ISO imagae of Memtest86+ to a CD and boot off of it and run it. That could also be your problem.
