So I decided to build a PC after a long time of not really caring too much about my computer. (I've been at college and thus have only used my computer for Facebook and writing papers at 2 AM.) For my build I purchased an HIS H487FN1GP Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card (I just copied and pasted that from newegg because I have no clue the syntax to say that in english.)
My real question is how good is that card? I don't know what the graphics card market is like anymore so I went on a limb with a magazine article including the card. Along side a Phenom II X4 3GHz CPU and 4 GB DDR3 1333 RAM, what is my new card capable of. If anyone has a similar build maybe some FPS in some big games and what settings.
You have 1 of the better systems out there overall, worthy of any decent gaming. Should handle almost anything you throw at it
