Hi!
I'm just wondering what is the difference of these cards except for the 512 and 1gb numbers.
Is their a big gap on the performance level?
BTW im running on a 19" monitor.

So what do you recommend a 1gb or a 512?

Thks

Not a big difference since I doubt that a 19" monitor runs a very high resolution. I think you're safe to go with the cheaper video card in this case if the only difference is memory buffer.

the 9600GT is too slow to take advantage of 1GB of memory. Also, double check to make sure the 1GB memory is not GDDR2 which is slower then the standard GDDR3 in most 9600GT cards.

So then 512mb is fine for a 19" monitor?
