I can't run any 16-bit programmes on my XP sp3 machine. I've checked the registry is set to allow creation of short filenames :- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\ NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation=0
Anything else that will cause the error message I'm getting?:-
"Can't run 16-bit windows programme" "Cannot find file (or one of it's components). Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."
More aboutcant windows program
I have sometimes seen this error when running a program from a path that contained a space in a folder name. I simply moved the folder and it ran fine.
Thanks! It gave me inspiration : Worker after I deleted the "-" in the "setup" directory.
