lol you can safely go up to 1.35v for 4.5 roughly between 1.25 to 1.3v put it on 1.2v and stress again ill assume you have a aftermarket cooler?? or do you have stock cooler??if stock dont go higher that 1.25 volts max and 4.2 most people go higher on stock but they know what they looking for but just to be save dont (imo)

you do know that you can get errors for to much volts to...do you have a app to monitor all you other volts?? like pll vccio etc??? what voltages are your othe stuff at? auto??
and it's possible that some cpus need more than 1.3v to get stable @ 4.5ghz put it on 1.25 and try again never rush it lol work your way up
if you want to OC you gonna need alot of patience

No i dont have app for volts. At first i followed a bit tech guide for my board and 2500k to go straight to 4.8, so i made changes to loads of things that they said like system agent voltage and loads of other stuff. Now i just have everything on auto and just changed multiplyer and volts.

One thing that was strange with the bit tech guide was that it told me to change something to ahci or something but it wouldnt boot, so i left it as ide and it worked

what test you doing on prime?? small fft? or blend??
your ram should be at defalut did you change anything there??
what mobo do you have again???
vdroop is eg when your cpu is underload the voltage drops like if you set it to 1.3v when vdroop kicks in it will be eg 1.25v making ur oc unstable so what ppl would do is put vdroop at maximum depending on oc so the volts dont drop to low to keep oc stable....so idle would be your volts would be what you set in bios 1.25 underload it will be 1.20 so if you cant find your vdroop setting up your volts till you find ur cpu stable,if i was you i's reset my bios and start over, dont touch anything else but your multi and volts when needed,if you find your vdroop settings even better set it to maximum for now

Ok the only thing i found was 'load line calibration' which says if enabled it will improve vdroop. The interesting thing is that when i enable this, im able to get 4.5 with much lower voltage than when its not enabled
