BUDGET RANGE: Up to $1,200. Obviously the more value, the better.
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: The only games I really play now are WoW and CS 1.6, but that has a lot to do with not having the computer able to run better games.
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Speakers
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com
PARTS PREFERENCES: Sick of ATI issues, although that may be because i've been running AGP since I built this computer. I heard Nvidia cards run a lot cooler. I'd also like to go with an Intel chip as well.
OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Right now i'm running an Athlon 64 3500+ 2.8GHZ comp I built back in December of 2004. Since then i've done minor upgrades (Radeon 3850 512MB and a PSU) but that's about it. I'm on the computer a lot and would like to get into some good FPS games with the right system, and maybe even fraps some content and work with Vegas for movie editing for some PVP vids on WoW. I haven't been able to do that with the current system. I'm not looking for the best and the biggest, but definitely something that will last me a few more years. I also messed around with overclocking on this guy, but without a good CPU fan i'm pretty hesitant, and have heard good rumors about being able to OC the Q6600's.
There is another option if you want to hear it, it goes with the new PII chips, I know you said Intel but, LGA 775, you will get a good computer but, you wont get anywhere fast once you need upgrades. If you'd like to stick with the intel then, it's fine, ill get a build going.

I'm not 100% sold on an Intel chip, i'm open to options. I'd be interested in seeing what you have for both builds.
Thanks in advance!
