Can someone tell me if these speakers will work for a computer. They are sold by Newegg under computer speakers but I dont see how they connect or how they get power.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6836196006

I have a cheap Sounblaster Audigy SE that I paid $20 for at Wal-Mart, I also have onboard audio. It says stereo rca inputs for soundcards but my soundcard does not have rca inputs and they also say unpowered, so how would this work with a soundcard?

Thanks

Magnetic shielding and compact size make these speakers perfect for placement near video monitors or computer displays.

* 1/8" TRS headphone connector with auto-mute loudspeaker function

RCA male to 3,5mm jack, don't know the original name but they're called that here. I check google for the 1/8" and also looked up a pic for ya. http://www.cablesdirect.com/prodimages/CC399-25_LR.jpg

Altho these are monitors. Monitors can't be compared to a logitech set. If you want the real deal buy a stereo amp and see what speakers you like at any local hi-fi dealer.

Do a google search for the speakers themselves and see what cables come with them and how they're powered - the picture on Newegg doesn't show anything.

Immature kiddy replies is what I expected. That's about all that roam these forums anymore. Anybody with some actual technical knowledge of music monitors?

Use RCA to jack cables and they will fit.

From Behringer's website

http://www.behringer.com/EN/Produc [...] eaturelist

There is a a link on the page to download the manual. Info on connections is there.

They have built-in amplification so they should work with almost anything.

I didnt even see the manual, have to check that. RCA to the 1/8 jack cable? Checking it out now thanks. Not sure where to find one of those but I'll check.

Thanks guys, these look like pretty decent speakers to replace my failing 2.1 logitechs.

So I need to find a RCA male to 1/8TRS, whatever that is?

Two stereo line inputs (RCA and 1/8" TRS) allow simultaneous use of two stereo sources, so you can play back CDs, MDs or MP3s and use an electric guitar/keyboard at the same time

Thanks supersnicker. I was searching for 1/8, not 3.5mm. Thanks for the pic too.
