how do you turn on ac power.. because under battery options it only lists desk/laptop/ max/ min/ options .. and I would like to switch to ac power if its not under battery options. then where is ac power option

AC power is automatic when you plug it the cord to the wall outlet. As far as I know.. all the laptops run on battery power when the adapter is unplugged... and run on AC (converted to DC) when you connect the power adpater on both the wire plug to the wall outlet and and the laptop wire connector to the laptop.

The control panel battery options should indicate when the battery is being charged (AC powered) or discharged on Battery power.
