So my questions: what would you suggest for a AMD Phenomii X4 or X6 that can possibly oc to a stable 4.0+ without breaking the bank using bigwater 780e?

Solution
Heck, my 965 is sitting at 3.8 stable right now with nothing other than a multiplier change, on air cooling (Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer).

I'd probably go with a P2 x4 965. Contrary to what people like to say, it IS a slightly better processor than the 955, whether by binning or just by luck. They OC a little higher and generally run a little smoother, which is worth the extra $20 in my opinion. An x6 wouldn't OC nearly as well, and I'm pretty sure would also require you to do a BIOS update on that board to make it compatible - something that generally isn't a pleasant thing to do.

If you had money to burn just get the X4 980 those are for sure high clockers....and thereby are thrown in the uber special bin
