Corsair Vengeance @ 1600 Mhz vs G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series @ 1600 Mhz vs G.SKILL Ripjaws Sniper @ 1600 Mhz

Currently I have a Vengeance 4 gb stick. I found a store offering new 8 gb G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series RAM for lesser price than 1 Corsair 4 gb stick. Should I switch to G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series or buy a new Corsair Vengeance stick. Which is better in performance? And what about sniper series? Will I notice any performance difference between Sniper and Ripjaws X? Which is best for gaming overall? Sniper or Ripjaws X or Vengeance?

In order of preference;

1| Corsair's
2| G.skill
3| Mushkin

so from the choices you have, go with the vengeance's!

Honestly, memory has no effect on gaming, the important is having enough GB

I beg to differ, there is significant performance gained from 1600+ MHz of ram , the CAS timmings and the capacity. So all of them come to play to give you a boost during load times and go hand in hand with CPU and GPU OC.
