Fans aren't being read

So the computer I built is in a Cooler Master case with 3 120 mm fans. The BIOS and SpeedFan both say that only one fan is working, with around 870 rpm. However, the average core temperatures are 37c (Intel E8400 stock cooler fan), and I can feel air moving through all three fans. So should I trust what the readings say, or are the fans working?

Are the other two fans plugged into the motherboard or the psu?

That's a good question. I'll look after this post. I guess being plugged into the psu would mean no motherboard monitoring.

Is the other fan speed normal though?

While you're looking inside your case, take a look and tell us which fan is plugged into the motherboard. Is it the fan attached to the cpu heatsink? Which Coolermaster case do you have?

No the cpu fan was plugged into its respective connector. I attached the other 2 fans and re-booted, and they were both recognized. I have a cooler master RC-690-KKN1-GP. Problem solved. Thank you very very much

Now the fans are averaging 870 800 and 1130. Are those normal speeds or are they too low?

It might depend on the fan settings or power management settings in your BIOS. Sometimes, but not always, one can adjust fan speed in BIOS.
