Would the gtx 460 be able to run crysis two highest settings? I would like to have about medium resolution. I don't really have a fancy moniter.
System specs:
Asus m4a785-m mobo
4 gigs ddr2 667mhz
amd 1100t x6 black edition
corsair 500 watt
With all this, could i run crysis 2 maxed out?

With DX 11 and the high res texture pack, probably not.

really depends what resolution, but I would say probably not maxed all the way.

The 1GB GTX460 at 1280x1024 scored 35FPS, and thats with no AA. Assuming you want at least 4AA, you'll need to go down even more. If you have the lower performing 768MB GTX460, you'll need to go lower even more. I really don't see this working out well for you.

Nah, i'm getting the one gigabyte one. And my monitor SUCKS! The probably most demanding thing i would put it through. Is my brothers hd tv. And then i'll turn it down to just high not ultra

What I was trying to point out is if you want 4AA, you'll need a res LOWER then 1280x1024. (or 1440x900 if you have a widescreen.) 1024x768 MIGHT be enough, but I'd bet you'd need lower still. 800x600 gaming perhaps?

Go through that link I sent. Remember that its a fast pace game, and the DX9 isn't as demanding. Perhaps that's the way to go for you.

I have a GTX 460 1 GB and i am runing Crysis 2 @ 30 - 33 FPS @ 1080p. with DX 11 u cant max out Crysis 2, u need to disable AA and lower the shadows a bit.

Yeah, AA takes alot out of a graphics card. But what about a less powerful graphics card. Could you put a second less powerful graphics card just for AA.
