Need help identifying specs for a Sony laptop CD-RW/DVD dr..

Archived from groups: comp.sys.laptops (More info?)

Its either the model: CRX830e-10x or CRX830e that I'm looking for. I
went to Sony's site, Googled for a couple of hours and came up with
nothing but online retailers selling the product under one of the
above model numbers, but without any specs whatsoever.

Is it really a remarked Lite-On LSC-24082K??

Does it do 24x Writing/24x Re-Writing/8x DVD
or does it do 24x Writing/*10x* Re-Writing/8x DVD?

I know the Lite-On model mentioned above has Mt. Rainer support, does
this one also?
