Help with 2500k

I wanna OC to 4ghz stable it's @ 3.3 ghz i have no idea what to do.

Specs- i-5 2500k , Hyper 212+ , 16gb ram , 6950 in CF.. Thanks

Just follow the basic guide(o/c in steps by increasing the multiplier and running a program like Prime95, Linx). Read properly before you try it, if you have not tried it before.

I have an asrock motherboard is it the same with all mobos?

Here's a good resource:
"Tutorial" 1
It's generally the same (as in the settings)
What's not the same is whether or not you can OC with that particular mobo.
Won't know until you try.
3 programs I recommend:
CPU-Z to monitor multiplier and vcore
Core Temp to monitor your cpu temps
Prime 95 to stress test your CPU.
If you run Core Temp and click sensor test it will run a Prime 95 test.
If your system crashes it's a no go with whatever settings you have in bios
