Hi all,

Whenever I play any game, doesn't matter what it is, Sims 3, Civilization 4, Tiger Woods Golf, Call Of Duty 4, I get a black screen after playing. It can happen 5 mins in or an hour in... Varies every time... Here are my specs:

ECS A770M-A motherboard
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad Core Processor 2.2ghz
4gigs Ram
400gb Hard Drive
Nvidia 9600gt PCI-E graphics card 512mb GDDR3 (Newest Driver 190.38)
Win XP
700W Power Supply

I built this PC about a year ago and started having this problem about 6 months ago... Any help would be appreciated

Check your GPU temperatures with GPU-Z.
Try taking the side off and pointing a fan at the card.

6 months with this problem? What have you tried what to fix the problem?

1. Both DVI ports give the same problem?

2. Check all the connections?

3. Driver cleaner?
