Coolermaster CM Stacker 830

Hello,

Does anyone happen to know if whether or not a Coolermaster CM Stacker 830 can accept an SSD whether thats with or without a mounting kit? I assume if wither way it will be with. I just want to make sure before I invest in one to use as my OS drive.

The Coolermaster CM Stacker 830 is an older model that does not come with a 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch bay adapter. Very very few cases come with an ssd adapter.

Quite a few of the retail versions of solid state drives come with an adapter that allow a ssd to be installed in a 3.5 inch drive bay. The OEM versions do not come with an adapter. There might be a couple of exceptions.

In a worst case scenario you can purchase an adapter for a few dollars. You can usually get one for less than $10.00. It is not necessary to spend more for an adapter.

Both 2.5 inch SSDs I've bought have come with the 3.5 inch adapters. Just read the product description very carefully and you'll be OK.
