as of now i dont have an aftermarket cooler for the cpu (unless my current one in my am2+ build works, its a stock one for a am2+ quad.. might be better? we will see)

I bought a BE so i could get L3 cache, it seemed like that was my only option.

So when i change the multiplier, does it mess with my HT, and RAM speeds like changing the fsb would? i hated having to babysit the ram speeds when i would overclock my non BE athlon. The guides i have been reading made it sound like i still had to monitor the ram speeds because they would increase with my increased multiplier speed

if someone could shed some light on this and maybe share some info on how far i can safely go on the stock cooler.. i heard people have been getting to 3.6ghz on stock voltage or even highter.. but people like to talk. Ill be sure to stress test with prime.

also, i dont plan on running 4 cores (i hear it messes with the temp sensor). i might try it if i buy a nice cooler for the cpu. having a fast dual core with l3 cache should be plenty for me anyways.

thanks guys
