Samsung hd161hj ticking

Just fitted one of these drives, I was worried about the 'ticking' noise but Windows loaded ok. From here on in its started a clicking sequence of 3 clicks, it then reboots. I reformatted & reloaded windows, the 3 ticks / clicks were hear then error messages appeared on screen. Please Help !!

The drive is failing if its still under warranty you should exchange it right away, if not u can possibly prolong its life but ultimately it wont be reliable
Use the tools from samsung to run test, check SMART,

U can try zeroFill, low level format tools to try and erase HD completely few times, to fix it, it depends on whats wrong with it on Ur chances
