Its the only AM3 mobo . You need AM3 ram with this combo so you can expect more parts support in the future as ddr2 supplies dry up .
Low latency [c7 ]1333MHz ram is relatively cheap . You dont gain anything by buying 1600MHz ram with lower latency

I am however of the opinion that AM3 isn't really worth it right now, and would opt for the PII 940 with DDR2 1066.

ya i think so too...it would be more money outta my pocket for maybe a little better performance.

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066.....im gettin this bundled with an antec 300 case, so it works out nice
