Gateway laptop needs driver to load windows

Hello,
I have the usb floppy and i got through the format but then it asks for Intel Matrix Storage Drivers disk again and when I hit enter it sits there and does nothing

By "I have the USB floppy" do you mean that you have a USB floppy drive, or that you have the floppy disc with the Intel Matrix Storage Drivers? If you don't have that disc, the files can be downloaded from Intel. If you do, and it still doesn't work, this is a different issue.

What version of the OS are you trying to install, from what kind of source (OEM DVD, retail DVD, USB stick, pirated download, Gateway recovery disc)?

You need a supported USB floppy drive.
