How does this manual work?

I asked a question about whether my G.SKILL F3-12800-CL8T-6GBRM memory works with my mobo, the Asus P6X58D. I've been looking through the manual and can't quite grasp something. For the memory timings(bios) section under the DDR-1600 category, it says that the timing should be for any particular memory 8-8-8-21 and then in brackets (1333-8-8-8-21). Does this mean its not DDR 1600?
