Greetings,
I am considering buying a second hand Vaio laptop.Unfortunately it
will come without a recovery disk. Do you know, if after loading my
Win XP Pro I will be able to use it without the need of some specific
Sony drivers ? I checked Sony support page and could not see any
drivers for that model. Could you please advise.
Thanks,
Steven

No, Sony laptops are *very* driver dependent; you will definitely
need a lot of Sony drivers to get all of the machine's features
running properly. You might check with Sony and see if you can order
the recovery CDs, or double-check the site for drivers, but don't
think it'll run without them.
