OLD UPDATES (WINDOWS XP)

Hi,I must have over 200 updates,can I and would it speed my very slow PC

The updates are mostly patches and security updates. I recommend getting them. If the install CD is old (pre service pack 3) I recommend slipstreaming in service pack 3. If done correctly, you'll be able to install XP with service pack 3 preinstalled, making for much less updates to be downloaded. Nlite makes slipstreaming easy(er).
