Hi there,

I have a quick question that I hope someone can help me with. Recently my pc started acting up, I was playing wow and all of a sudden I had horizontal green lines, vertical red lines and a flashing screen and my system froze. After manually shutting down, I rebooted and started getting the same lines while surfing the web. My question, is my graphics card fried or could it be a mobo problem?

I know I'm going to hear if my gc is fried I wouldn't get a picture but I'm sporting Nvidia 8800 GTS x 2, sli enabled. Is it possible one of them has died?

my motherboard is an ASUS Striker Extreme LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI.

Thank you in advance for any answer thats given.

hi leigh

test each card separately, easiest way to find out if either one has an issue.

It could also be one of the cards fans have seized or just stopped working.
