1gb ddr2 pc 6400 or 2gb ddr2 pc5300

so i have a netbook with stock ddr2 1gb of ram which is obviously running in single channel mode. I happen to have 2 gb of ddr2 ram pc5300 or 5400 that i pulled out of my macbook pro. I don't know which would theoretically be better. i loose some speed but should gain a gb of ram and duel channel mode.
So what say you?
i might just get some benchmarks and try both this weekend, and recomended benchmarks.....
