Been eyeballing parts to put together a machine just for WoW. I won't be playing above 1280*1024 resolution, probably at only 1024*768. If anyone here is using the onboard HD3300 video on an 790GX board, I'd like to know how the solution performs for WoW.
If you look at the chart at the end of the "Best Graphics Card..." monthly article, you'll see that the HD3300 IGP is on the same tier as those other two cards. Remember, he's not asking about an Intel Graphics Media Decelerator, but about an AMD IGP. A 4650 or 4670 is certainly not a bad idea, but the others won't make a difference.
Make sure you have a lot of memory though, as some will be needed by the IGP. You'll be fine if you get a 2x2GB kit.

true but with add-ons and vent, a dedicated card will be a useful addition.
WoW seems to like Nvidia over AMD so a cheap card like this $40 9500GT after rebate will be worth the extra cash
