Help a New Timer Build a Computer

I'm about to buy Empire Total war, and have Call of Duty World at War and want to run then at max settings with no problems.
I already Have:
NVIDIA GTX 275 gpu
Intel e8400 wolfdale Processor

With a Budget of 400-500 Dollars:
Can you guys recommend me motherboards (which are compatible with said processor), power supplies ( 600 W and up with a 12v rating of 40a) , and other parts which will be necessary for a great gaming computer.
