Bad Motherboard?

I have an ASUS P7D55D EVO board,

I've recently have alot of trouble with my graphics card, (constant freezing crashing and locking up the computer) only resetting would fix it.

Anyway, I took someones suggestion to switch PCI Slots from one to the other (its a crossfirable board) and moved it from slot one to slot two.

I ran Modern Warfare 2 Straight for 2 hours, and ATI tool 100 minutes no errors, but before it would just plain die off under 2 minutes or 20 minutes on ati tool.

Does this mean I have a bad port or horrible drivers?

Help Appreciated!

Thanks!

Are you overclocking? Overclocking can stress out the power supply, even good ones. I use coretemp to monitor cpu temps. Could also be a heat issue with the video card. List your complete specs for more suggestions.

1 G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB)
1 ASUS P7P55D EVO LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard -
1 Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System
1 Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core
1 ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU
1 Western Digital Caviar Black WD7501AALS 750GB 7200 RPM
1 Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case -
1 PLEXTOR 24X DVD/CD Writer Black SATA
1 CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire
1 ASUS EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5 Radeon HD 4890 1GB 256-bit

I've already checked the temps, CPUs max out at 55 under load and the graphic card at 60 under stress test.

It runs well under stress tests now, AFTER i switched PCI slots.

Does that imply my PCIX16 (1) slot on my mobo is broken..? (currently its in my PCI X 16 (2) slot <( is that really PCI X16 or just PCI X8?

Thanks for the response!
