How can i make my computer find my seagate harddrive

why is it that i cannot find my seagate on my computer

Is this a new drive? If so, go to disk management and initialize the drive.

If it's a drive that you have used before, please provide a brief history of the symptoms and changes when it stopped working. My favorite is "It worked before I took it to France and it was X-rayed in airport security."

I wiped my computer clean snd reinstalled all programs everthing is working but the seatgate external hard drive

Have you tried it on a different computer? If it doesn't work on other computers, the enclosure may be bad. You can try removing the drive from the enclosure and hooking it up directly to the motherboard and see if it shows up in disk management properly.
