Memory for gigabyte ga-x58a-ud7

I have ordered a gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 motherboard, and would like to purchase 8 gigs of memory 2 simms. What make of memory should I buy. What are your recommendations.??? Also: has any body had any problems with this board.?

^ Dont go with 8GB memory...if you populate 1/2/4/5 slots, you will loose Tri-Channel config...
So go with 6GB(3x 2GB/ 12GB kits(3x4GB/ 6x 2GB) or maybe even 9GB(3x 2GB + 3x 1GB) but not preferred though...
And why do you want 8GB of memory ?
You would need more than 6GB of RAM only when you do pro photo/ video editing, rendering and such tasks...
For gaming and general usage, you wont notice much difference using more than 6GB of RAM...

If you will be using an aftermarket CPU cooler, just take card when you choose RAM with tall heatsinks as they might block the CPU cooler...

Thak you that was good advice. I will go with the Kingston HyperX 6GB DDR3 2000MHz Memory.
