Which is best for my motherboard

Actually i am new to this forum and i am looking for new graphics card for my machine i have :

mother board: Gigabyte DQ6
4GB ram
cpu: intel quad q6600


so i am thinking to buy geforce 8800 ultra
is it good for the new games and HD services and the newest technologies


and what is the newest and highest quality can fit in my motherboard

8800ULTRA is an old card,i recommend u looking @ Nvidia 200 series or ATI HD 48xx series,what is your budget ?

What is your native gaming resolution as well, that is almost as important.

Also "what is the newest and highest quality [card that] can fit in my motherboard" isn't enough. Your motherboard has a PCIe x16 so you will be able to "fit" any card into it, but larger cards require more power so what is your power supply? Also larger cards may be hard to fit into a mid-tower but any single GPU card would probably fit (maybe a squeeze).
