My Sims 3 game is on my external hard drive. I hooked my laptop to our big screen. Works perfect. I can do anything.....until I play Sims 3. It is displayed on my laptop, but not the TV. Why is that and what can I do?

set the tv to clone your laptop monitor. Then the tv will show whatever is on the laptop.
