Ok this is a pretty basic question but I'm trying to figure out some aftermarket coolers that I can use that won't require me removing my motherboard from the case. I was looking at some arctic cooling coolers like:

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185125

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134

When looking at my motherboard the blue gigabyte bracket only has one tab that sticks out for the heatsink clips. I noticed other motherboards have the normal 3 tabs. Is this going to cause problems attaching a heatsink/fan to this motherboard?

I'll keep an eye on this thread and see what you decide as I have the same MOBO and am looking for a HS as well (the stock one on an X3 720 just doesn't cut it when you get one with a good 4th core and OC's well !) - I'm running it at 3.0 GHZ. right now because any higher and the temps start to rise more than I'm comfortable with on the stock HS !

I'm thinking I might just go with this one ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065 ) and bite the bullet and remove the MOBO to install it so that I know it is a solid connection since I've heard good things about the performance but if there is another choice it would be simpler !!

It looks like either of the ones I listed will work after searching newegg reviews. I guess even though the metal clips on these coolers have 3 cutouts they can be used with my board which only has 1 tab on the bracket.
