I have a PC and I don't really know what caused it but every time I power it up it will keep rebooting itself for about 3 to 4 minutes. Then it just boots up normally. It is also Windows Xp Pro. Any suggestions?

*Do not have a CD for it.

Could be any number of things. Too numerous to itemize. Not having a Windows CD makes it difficult to resolve. It could even be a Windows update applied to your system. Try booting into Safe Mode, and selecting Last Known Good Configuration.

Try booting into Safe Mode, and selecting Last Known Good Configuration.

It is a selection on your screen you highlight after you get into safemode.

Try turning off automatic restarts. Windows is probably crashing and automatically rebooting. At least you should get an error message.
