So What is a good Mobo for the AMD Phenom II x4 940-965? I would prefer DDR2 since it still is a little cheaper and some OC caputbilities would be REALLY nice but not nessessary. Faster FSB would be great but i really not a big stickler (I know how low i want to go ;a)). I just want someone down there thats good reliable and cheap hehe...

Links would be a good help!

FSB / Ram

AMD does utilize FSB, just not the same way as Intel CPU's. If you raise the bus you are actually raising the RAM and CPU frequency as well. Just like gkay suggested, don't buy anything AM2 or DDR2 unless you are willing to upgrade sooner than later....

^ Hmm...my bad...I had just meddled with BCLK and Multiplier and not much of an overclocker...So I would listen to OvrClkr on this...
and as for mobo compatability with OS, yes it will be compatible...but if you use 32bit OS, then it will recognize only a max ~3.5GB of RAM...

Is there any way to mess with the OS to get it to read more? (Yes i know about the ~3.5 restriction and the 16gig one if i only get Home 7...) But is there any way to rig it up or no? ;a)
