My motherboard is Gigabyte ga-ep31-ds3l Model. and i am getting a new video card that requires a PCI 2.0 slot. will a video card that needs a PCI Express 2.0 slot work in my motherboard that has PCI Express x 16 slots? i will be very proud of u to help meeeeeeeee...!
Short answer, yes, you'll be fine. Just make sure that your PSU can handle the added load of the new card.

a psu is a power suply unit,so basically make sure your power pack can handle the ggraphics card because it will use more power
