Will the OCZ PCS 12800 ram work with an AMD Phenom II 955 BE with a Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H Motherboard?? I want to buy this memory today, but I am hesitant b/c it is advertised to work with Intel. Can someone help me figure this out??

Thanks - J

Should be fine - though you'll need to go into the Bios and set them up manually - they'll default to 1333 speed - My Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1800 1.9V modules defaulted to 1333 @1.6V but are fine on the same MOBO after setting the Timings etc. in the Bios - The Gigabyte MOBO has pretty much any option you need for tweking the settings and the 104 page manual that comes with it gives a pretty good explanation of where to find the ones you need !!

The Memory compatibility listing ( http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/FileList/MemorySupport/mb_memory_ga-ma790gpt-ud3h.pdf ) does list the OCZ3G1600LV6GK as compatible which is another version of the DDR3 1600 modules they make so the OCZ3G1600LV4GK should also work.
