Computer won't boot after plugging in 2x2.

My comp won't boot after plugging in my 2x2 plug to the mobo. I press the power button fans start spinning and LEDs come on but only for literally 1 second. Without the 2x2 plug in everything runs, but obviously that doesn't help me since the 2x2 powers the CPU. I've already reseated everything within the PC and even had my CPU replaced under warranty thinking that my have been the problem. Any ideas what may be going wrong?

Reading the checklist won't help you. Did you actually perform each step in the checklist? What are the complete system specs? Is this a new build, or an existing build? We need a lot more information in order to help you.

I preformed all the steps before i posted this. I'll post the specs later on as I'm in the car atm

Had same problem last week, found out my GPU was doa. Unplug GPU and plug in 2x2 see it boots obviously nothing on screen but you will be able to tell.

Didn't work =/ thanks though.
