Pop Quiz

What I would like to do is install some sort of web proxy software on my
server at home, with a client on my laptop so that where ever I am the
traffic is encrypted on my machine and sent to the web proxy. It is then
decrypted at my proxy and sent onto its destination.

The encrypt I would like, would ideally encrypt a URL using something
simple like ROT13 or whatever on client side, then this scrambled URL gets
sent to my web proxy where it is decrypted and retrieves the webpage.

I know that there are a number or secure IM packages that need to be
installed at either end, where it is encrypted at one end and then
decrypted at the other.

Does anything like this exist?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
