I can't install Windows 7 or Xp on My system.

My new HDD is Seagate External Hard Disk 500 GB.

It could be recognised and partitioned and OS files can be copied. But cannot start the windows installation. System "shows the blue screen"
Installation process doesn't happen, all the before steps takes place neat

I contacted some local technicians. They told me that first we should make the Hard Disk "NEUTRAL" and their is a software for that (currently they don't have it but will give me when they get it) . Once that program is installed on system, we could easily install any Operating system on the External Hard disk.

Do anyone know this program and could you please give me a copy of it.

I also called Seagate customer support and they said it is not possible to install OS on Expansion HDD

But my technicians confidently say that there is a solution for it, ie. Make HDD neutral

I want the fix ASAP. Please help, I am a blogger. Losing valuable time

Hope someone have knowledge on my issue and help me out

Microsoft does not like it's OS's installed on a external drive. If having the OS on a external drive is a must for you try one if the LINUX OS's.
