can i use AM3 cpu on asus m3a78-em board. bios is upto date.i currently hav amd 7750 b.e overclocked to 3.2 stable.4gigs ddr2-800 but was considering upgrading to AMD Phenom II X4 810.

Yes all AM3 cpus will work with that motherboard, just make sure you have the latest bios version.
