Hello there, I am new to overclocking. I hope you can help me. Im planning to build my next PC in early 2012 with a bulldozer CPU. That FX-8170 looks like its a 3.9 with a turbo 4.5 Does that mean you can turbo to 4.5 with the stock fan?? I assume not which leads me to my next question. What is the best quality liquid cooling system for overclocking. My budget on a liquid cooler is 300. What liquid cooling system will allow me to turbo to 4.5, have all 8 cores on full load at 4.5, stable at no more than 60 celcius, 50 prefered. Also, whats the best liquid cooling system to get up to 5 GHz if I can even go that high. I want to be able to push to at least 4.5 preferably 5 and STABLE. What would you recommend for a high quality strong liquid cooling system, and also, whats the best coolant liquid to use with that.

Yea im sure the WC companies are still doing R&D right now to see what products they will offer. So u will have to wait till then. Plus wait closer to your build date to figure it out. Todays best is tomorrows loser.

Well I am upgrading my liquid cooler to get my phenom 965 to 4.5GHZ so I won't need bulldozer until 2013 I suspect and it will be cheaper then also.

AMD have been doing well with high clocks with Zambezi and I think in turbo mode the 4.5ghz is probable.

With the new instruction sets pcsx2 will run at superspeed now.
