Overclocking phenom 9600 question

k these are som eof my specs

Graphics Card: EVGA gts 450
CPU:AMD Phenom(tm) 9600 Quad-Core Processor
OS: Windows Vista 64
PSU: 500W

im wondering if overclocking it to 2.6ghz would be a possibility. I've seen many posts that say its hard to overclock this cpu, but i think it should be able to go to 2.6.
