Hey all,

So as the title says, Im looking at OCing my recently bought Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB. As I'm completely new to OCing I thought I'd check in here and see if anyone had any tips for a beginner. Ive read through a few forum threads and articles to do with OCing a GPU and the current plan is to first increase the core clock by 10MHz each time, afterwards running 3DMark 11, MSI Kombustor and Crysis 2 to check for artifacts and any other problems that might occur, then when I begin to notice any problems, decrease the clocks by 10 - 20 MHz.
Afterwards, doing the same for the memory clocks seperately.

Currently Im not planning on messing with voltages or BIOS flashing and I'm looking at either using Sapphire Trixx or MSI Afterburner. Is there anything else I should be taking into account?

Thanks :)
