I'm not sure if this is a motherboard question or not, but my audio is integrated so I thought I'd give it a try. I have recently purchased a Asus M4A785TD-V EVO motherboard. It has VIA integrated audio. I installed the latest drives and it works, sometimes. But every once in while I loose my left channel. All other sound works. If I restart then it comes back. Any ideas what is going on? It does to the front port as well as the rear ports. Just the front left channel. Rear left works.

I just built this same motherboard up over the weekend and I am having the same problem. Have you found out any solution? I reinstall the driver and it works fine but 3X now it has lost one of the channels. I have also been receiving some occasional speaker feedback so I thought it might be a short somewhere but it does it regardless of front panel or backpanel. It looks like we have the same issue. Let me know if you find anything and I will do the same.
