Right made up my mind and stop being a mouse I'm going to Overclock it and keep it - Last time I got it to 3.2 and got scared lmfao so I reset using CMOS :p This time I'm aiming to get from 2.8 to 3.4. But on my BIOS there is a option to leave voltage on auto can I leave it on auto for a small overclock like that I don't want to mess with these settings I'm so scared of killing the Machine lol.
SPEC

AMD Phenom II X6 (1055t 2.8 x 6)
ASUS M4N75TD
Noctua d14 (At the moment never got higher than 35C ever while rendering and under prime 95)
4GB RAM (Next Week I'm getting 12GB 1600MHz and also going to be cleaning the PC out of dust and bugs since it's always by an open window with no side case :p)
GTX 460 Sonic Platinum
750w Corsair PSU

FSB should be set to 244 MHz
Raise the vcore up to say 1.41
you gonna have to set the RAM clocks back to 1333 MHz
This will give you: 3.416 GHz @ 1626 MHz RAM

That voltage I sugeest is just a guideline to go by...but that is 3.4 GHz with 1626MHz RAM...I hope this helps

So your saying this RAM won't even work? You telling me these problems but no solutions.

No in default your mobo read 1333 however you had 1600, it's ok .. Next step, If software above you did download it , look your seting in default use cpu-Z and open hwmomitor, just remain you will leave it :D
( I can't see your bios because I use phone sorry). You can experiment use old ram 1333 but can get high. Just safely for RAM maybe at 3.5ghz , still use below voltage standard maximum 1.44V.

My 1055t 95w overclocked to 3.5 without changing voltages.

To go above 3.5 though required some adjustments. I've currently got it at 3.73 with cpu voltage at 1.39. My Asus Sabertooth 990fx allows you to set offset voltages which it adds to the voltage required by the CPU's spec. I like using the offset voltage, since it allows me to keep cool-n-quiet working properly. If you key in a fixed voltage, it'll use that voltage at idle and under load.

I wish I had a Noctua, although for 3.7G 1055t I don't really need it. I may get one when I upgrade to Bulldozer.

Having fast ram, say 1866, is an advantage when you overclock, since you'll probably end up with an unusual spec. at 3.73 my ram is in the 1700's, and if I was using 1600 ram, I'd have to drop it between 1333 and 1600.

If you already had software cpu-z and prime95 ,
And I saw your ram 4gb 1333.
Go bios find :
- Votage cpu set manual raise to + 0.050
- Fsb raise to : 230 this first step
- in memory setting : set memory to 1066
- Save setting boot ..
Open cpu-z , see : clock speed 3.2ghz , vcore 1.36v and memory 566mhz timming 8-8-8-20
2. next .. Go bios again.
- Raise fsb : 240 increase
- in memory voltage (vdim) raise at +0.015
- Find cool n quite disabled it
- save .. Boot
Open Cpu-z again see : clock speed 3.4ghz
Test it use IBT (intelburn test) this software for quick test stabillity set at 20time use standard .. See result

Okay just wait New ram . Btw what kind your old ram ? I just oc my 1055T use value ram 2x2GB( cheaper) + heatspreader $3 :D and can get 4.2 stable but can't use for dailly just for benchmark

I know why your ram won't boot because your ram still 1333 if you read guide from me , your ram shoul be drop divider / ratio to 3:8 or 1066

Right I have the RAM now 8GB dual and 1600MHz Kingston. Can I have the settings to what I need to do and I can write them down. People have told me that ASUS have good auto settings can't I just use those?
