Wondering if this is a Sata 3?

Solution
Yes. The specs say "6 Gb/s", which is the max communication speed of SATA3. In fact, "SATA3" is not the officially correct name - the makers want you to call it "SATA 6gb/s".

By the way, I hope you realize that a SATA 6gb/s hard drive will NOT be any faster than a SATA 3Gb/s unit (used to be called SATA II). But that's the way they are being made today.

Yah I know...just wondering because I was wondering what connector I needed for this particular hdd...thanks for the help because it would have been a pain to

hook it up and find that the connector I used was the wrong one.
