My first SSD

I just received my first SSD. The OCZ Vertex 3 120 gig.
So all I have to is go into BIOS and turn on ACHI, install OS and turn off defrag?
Is there anything else I'm missing. Any feedback is appreciated.

There is a little more that needs to be done.

Would you happen to know if "Disable Windows Write-Cache Buffer Flusing" is necessary. They say it has a negative effect on Intel SSD. Should I skip this step for my OCZ?

Has no negative impact on the OCZ drive... It is an Intel controller design / issue only. I haven't seen it effect the Sandforce controller in my testing.

is usually best to just leave the W7 default settings as they are for a Sandforce drive
