USB Troubles!

I have been using an HP monitor with 2 side usb ports. The other day they just quit working. now my computer doesn't recognize my monitor hub or my digidesign Mbox and I get the "One of your USB devices has malfunctioned" error. I tried turning off my computer and letting it sit unplugged for 30 mins. Then I tried uninstalling all usb devices listed in device manager, restarting, and reinstalling. None of this worked. Finally I just reinstalled windows which fixed it for a while but now its doing it again. All of my USB devices work fine on a different computer. Can anybody help?

I think it might have something to do with the motherboard

so have a good look at your bios (look for anything strange)

sounds like you have a conflict did you install or change anything (programs, settings, bios, drivers, updates....) shortly before the hub quite working
